The Helen Elizabeth Dayvault Sechler Scholarship

Due to a generous endowment in honor of Helen Elizabeth Dayvault Sechler, the UNC Study Abroad Office is offering a scholarship to help offset the cost of a study abroad program. This need-based scholarship will be awarded to UNC students participating on a semester or academic year-long exchange program in England. Candidates should demonstrate compelling academic reasons for studying abroad and detailed plans to engage with the host culture through formal or informal extra-curricular activities. Scholarship recipients are required to participate in study abroad outreach events upon return from abroad.
